October 2002 Thank you... Rick, for everything. For who and what you are, and helping us to be who and what we are and what we strive to be. I really don't have all the words to tell you how thankful I am to you ! Grant and Susan. For the rides to and from the airport, for the great company, and for being the really nice people you are.I enjoyed meeting you two previously in Vegas and totally loved getting to know you better this time. I know you have animals to tend to, but if the opportunity ever arises, you are more than welcome to come stay with me in Myrtle anytime you want a vacation ! :-))) Steven and Theresa: Don't know where to start here. Too many good things I feel about you two. What a great couple. What good people ! I'm proud to call you friends, and look forward to next time we can get together. :-) Shepherd: Geesh. Can't even put everything in words here. I had a great time getting to know you, and looking forward to seeing you again at Bocafest in February (unless we kidnap Rick sooner !) ;-))) Forrester: Gosh, where to start. I was so comfortable around you. Felt like I've known you for years. I hope to for many. :-) Slavik: You were another big surprise ! I knew you were one of the youngest successful guys at this stuff, but I had no idea how nice you are -- was great talking to you. Looking forward to next time. :-))) Roy: You were one of my biggest surprises -- a TOTALLY nice guy, fun to talk to, fun to be around, I'm looking you up when I come to Florida ;-))) Drew: You are totally fun. Not the brainy nerd you come across as on the board, but the brainy cool guy that's fun to be with ! So glad to have met you & Ana - wish she could've spent a little more time with the group. Scott: What a pleasure ! Unlike these guys who've known about you for a long time, I came into the game late and only heard of you when you joined the board a short time ago. Anybody that grows watermelons is a friend of mine ! :-))) Dan & Richard of DBS: Dean knows how to pick 'em is all I can say -- you are both great guys. Was great talking with you, and I'm sure we'll talk again soon (p.s. you need any help organizing the deanfest as an annual event ? lol, i'll help). Howard: I enjoyed meeting you last time, and had even more fun this time. Always a pleasure. :-) Toonz: What can I say ! The biggest surprise of this trip was finding out how good-looking AND nice you are ! Glad you don't live closer -- I'd flirt endlessly with you ! ;-))) Joe Zeppy: Was a pleasure the first time I met you, and even more so this time. You are fun, open, talkative, entertaining. Looking forward to next time, and next time, and next... Yanni: Dang it yanni, why didn't you stay longer ? I enjoyed meeting you but would've like to have spent more time with you -- next time ! Mo and Jo: Where to start here, too. What fun people you are !!! I'll never again believe Americans that say Brits are stuffy ! You are two of the most fun people I've ever met !!!!!!! Franky & Mrs. Tong: Was so nice meeting you ! I also wish I could've spent a little more time talking with you. Oz: You're a gem. Fun, energetic, loved talking to you (and listening to that ozzie accent !) Only regret here is not seeing a demo of your software :-( Zippy: Was a pleasure ! Hey - I saved TWO bags of airplane food for you and they're still sitting here in my room ! Want me to send them to you ? ;-))) Eggybilly & Jan: Another totally fun couple ! Eggy, you could be a standup comedian... you don't need domain names or "e"sites -- people would pay you to make them laugh -- which you do effortlessly --- you're that dang funny !!!! Can't wait 'til next time. Chappie: Was fun pretending to be your wife and I was happy to help you get laid (not by me for board members). LOL. Total fun :-) Dinky: Funny, funny guy. I'm not sure if he's mental or so dang witty that most goes over my head (he'd tell you ALL he says goes over my blonde head - he's probably right). Was great spending time with you. :-) Candy and Dave: Was great fun with you two ! You are as down to earth and genuine as anyone I've met, and I really enjoyed spending time with you. And once again, Happy Anniversary ! Richard aka locos aka mmd: What a neat person you are ! I really liked talking to you and hope you're able to stay put in one place now ! Smart, good-looking, successful... great guy. :-) Win and Mahony: I am so glad to have finally met you. We talked about meeting years ago and I'm glad this event finally happened so we could. You two are special people to me, and I am glad we finally got to meet. Bucko: I'm so ticked you checked out without saying goodbye or giving me a hug !!!! Although I talked to you a few times, I have this nagging feeling I wanted to spend more time with you. When I get back home, expect at LEAST one lengthy email my friend :-) Steve: Another guy that was total fun. Like Bucko, I wanted to spend more time talking to you ! Next time, definitely. AT & Bonnie: Was great meeting you as well ! So glad you asked the questions at Dean's meeting so those of us that are a bit shy didn't have to. ;-))) Mike F: Hehehe, I'll always think of that conversation around the table... with your big.. lol, you are total fun, too. :-))) Phil: It was great meeting you, and again wish I'd spent more time talking with you. Tumay: We've emailed a bit back and forth, and although it was nice to meet you in person on Monday, I wish we could've spent more time talking. Chas: We were already friends, and it was great to see you again.. but didn't it feel odd to be seeing each other so far from home ? lol. Call anytime you're in Myrtle. Darryl & Sandy: Another totally fun couple ! Sandy, I'm sorry I missed the fun at the bar on Monday night - I was just too tired to stay out -- but from what I hear you were the life of the party !
